Men's Empowerment Group

The Men's Empowerment Group at Heartside Ministry meets on a weekly basis to work through ideas and issues that affect men, specifically men living in the Heartside neighborhood. Co-facilitated by the ministry's outreach pastor, James Schuen, this dedicated group of men explore topics such as communication, anger, etc. as they relate to their own interpersonal interactions and sense of self. The men support one-another in their struggles, celebrate success & progress and promote accountability among members. Throughout the week, the men continue to build on the relationships they've developed in the group meetings, fostering healthy community in the Heartside neighborhood.
