Volunteering at the Ministry

Heartside Ministry aims to employ volunteers whenever possible and/or beneficial. Volunteers are employed in order to increase the commitment of persons to act on behalf of the common good. Camaraderie is fostered with Heartside residents; volunteers learn and grow through experience, conversation, and observation. For those to whom poverty and homelessness are foreign, it is the ministry’s hope that these socioeconomic maladies are given a face. As it becomes increasingly evident that all persons bear God’s image, “God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven” becomes an active mantra rather than a passive hope.

Below are listed some of the opporunities for service available at the ministry. If you are interested in volunteering at Heartside Ministry, please e-mail greg@heartside.org or you can call (616) 235-7211.
